Volleyball Recap: Mason Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Mason came tearing into Saturday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Kings Knights.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Mason was: they took every set by at least 16 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-6, 25-8.

Leading Mason to victory were Declan Mulvin and Logan Zemberi. Mulvin had 24 assists and three digs, while Zemberi had 13 digs. Mulvin is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 24 or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Mason was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Mason's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-4. As for Kings, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mason will head out to square off against Fairfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kings, they will venture away from home to challenge Milford at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
