Football Recap: Michael Osuna's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Granada Hills Charter over Venice + How To Watch

After flying high against North Hollywood last Thursday, Granada Hills Charter came back down to earth. The Highlanders fell 28-17 to the Venice Gondoliers on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Highlanders in their meetings with the Gondoliers: they've now lost three in a row.

Granada Hills Charter lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Michael Osuna, who rushed for 115 yards on only 11 carries. Granada Hills Charter also got a significant boost from Dean Rosales, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 81 yards.

Granada Hills Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Venice, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Granada Hills Charter will head out to face off against Palisades at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. As for Venice, they will host Harvard-Westlake at 7:00 p.m. on September 5.
