Softball Recap: High School of the Future Falls to Samuel Fels in First Game of Season

High School of the Future had to start their season on the road on Wednesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 20-5 to the Samuel Fels Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to High School of the Future of the 18-7 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Jaylynn Torres Green was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

The victory was the third in a row for Samuel Fels, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. High School of the Future will welcome Philadelphia High School for Girls at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. High School of the Future are facing the GAZELLE at the right time seeing as the GAZELLE are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Samuel Fels, they will host Franklin Learning Center at 3:15 p.m. on Monday.
