The world's most famous basketball player still has a long career ahead of him, but coaching may be in his future.

Four-time NBA MVP LeBron James has been on the sidelines coaching his son, LeBron James Jr., and the North Coast Blue Chips (OH) at the Bigfoot Hoops event in Las Vegas during the week.

The team's assistant coach, James was reportedly "very intense" on the sidelines during his team's 54-51 loss to the Oakland Soldiers.

He wasn't just exalting his son. In one sequence seen above, he lifted one of the players from the Chips off the ground after hitting a clutch 3-pointer.

The elder James played for the Soldiers for three summers between his freshman and junior seasons at St. Vincent-St. Mary (Akron, Ohio).
