Softball Recap: Clinton County Beats Casey County for Their Sixth Straight Victory

Clinton County had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Casey County Rebels as they made off with a 12-4 win. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 17 matches by six runs or more this season.

Clinton County's victory bumped their record up to 25-7. As for Casey County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-14 record this season.

Clinton County will square off against Adair County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Casey County, they are taking a road trip to take on Taylor County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
