Softball Recap: Elsinore's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Elsinore waltzed into their game on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victors by an 18-2 margin over the Chaparral Pumas. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 18-2 on Saturday.

Elsinore pushed their record up to 5-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.7 runs over those games. As for Chaparral, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Looking ahead, Elsinore will face off against Trabuco Hills at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Elsinore is facing Trabuco Hills at the right time seeing as Trabuco Hills is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Chaparral, they will take on Vista Murrieta at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Vista Murrieta's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Chaparral's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
