Volleyball Recap: Industrial Comes Up Short

Industrial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Jones Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on Monday.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Industrial sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-17, 20-25, 27-25.

Industrial's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Jones, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Industrial will challenge Shiner at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jones, they will be taking part in a tournament against Gonzales at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday.
