Softball Recap: Charles J. Colgan Has No Trouble Against Gar-Field

Charles J. Colgan got themselves on the board against Gar-Field on Friday, but Gar-Field never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Red Wolves with a sharp 26-0 win. That looming 26-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Sharks yet this season.

Charles J. Colgan got a massive performance out of Riley Russian, who went 3-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and four RBI. Those two stolen bases gave Russian a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Alecia McCray, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double.

Russian wasn't the only one making solid contact: Charles J. Colgan kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. The Sharks are 2-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
