Baseball Recap: Hillsboro Takes a Loss

After flying high against Clermont Northeastern on Thursday, Hillsboro came back down to earth. The Indians came up short against the Circleville Tigers on Friday, falling 11-1. The Indians have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Hillsboro's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Circleville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hillsboro will head out to take on Batavia at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Circleville, they will venture away from home to square off against Teays Valley at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
