The Richards Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Taft Eagles at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Richards is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.7 goals per game this season.
Richards proved they can win big two weeks ago (they won by three) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Victoria Soto, sneaking past 3-2.
Alfredo Aponte and Christopher Jaramillo scored all three of Richards' goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.
Meanwhile, Taft kept a clean sheet against Lake View on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over the Wildcats. Considering Taft have won four matches by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Taft's victory bumped their record up to 13-0. As for Richards, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
