Basketball Recap: Sunapee Comes Up Short

Sunapee lost against Profile back in February of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lakers lost 58-33 to the Patriots. The Lakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Profile got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Daryion Faustin out in front who almost dropped a double-double with 23 points and nine boards. Another player making a difference was Tanner Schmarr, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten rebounds.

Sunapee's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Profile, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Sunapee will head out to challenge Holy Family Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Lakers their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Profile, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Blue Mountain at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
