Southwestern won against Salamanca on Wednesday with seven runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Trojans came out on top in a nail-biter against the Jamestown Red & Green, sneaking past 7-6. For the Trojans, this counts as revenge for the 8-7 win the Red & Green walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

The team relied heavily on Siri Dubois, who went 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in May of 2024. Eliana Barone was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Southwestern's victory ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-5. As for Jamestown, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Southwestern wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 9-8 win against Dunkirk on the 28th. Jamestown has also already played their next match (against Maple Grove), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
