Basketball Recap: Rising Sun Shiners vs. Jac-Cen-Del Eagles

Rising Sun was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 52-43 to the Jac-Cen-Del Eagles. The Shiners were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Despite the loss, Rising Sun still got an impressive performance from Carrigan Friend, who went 6 of 10 en route to 17 points and six rebounds. Tamryn Miller was another key player, putting up 12 points along with five boards and three steals.
