Daniel Cioffi gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in March on Monday. He made a splash, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. He was up against Saratoga Springs and has quite the history against that squad, as he also had a great game the last time he faced them back in May of 2025. Cioffi also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Shaker is 5-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 5-6 otherwise.

Cioffi's effort led Shaker over Saratoga Springs and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
