Softball Recap: Dillon Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Dillon's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Aynor Blue Jackets on Tuesday. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 13-1 to the Blue Jackets when the teams met back in April of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Dillon's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Aynor, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dillon will face off against Green Sea Floyds at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Trojans' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Wildcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Aynor, they will challenge North Myrtle Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
