St. George dropped their record down to 6-9 on Thursday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 18-1 to the Northpoint Christian Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, with their most recent loss being a 15-1 defeat back in April.

As for Northpoint Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season. The result was nothing new for Northpoint Christian, who have now won 19 matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

For Northpoint Christian's part, the team relied heavily on Hannah Bostain, who got on base in two of her three plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Ella Myrick was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base.

St. George's didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Trinity Christian Academy on the 2nd. As for Northpoint Christian, they have also already played their next game, an 8-1 defeat against University School of Jackson on the 5th.
