Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Triangle Math & Science). They blew past the Southern Wake Academy Lions 21-3 on Monday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Rehaan Subzwari made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. Those nine strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Triangle Math & Science got a massive performance out of Ojas Addepalli, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those two stolen bases gave Addepalli a new career-high. David Mencia was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three stolen bases and two runs.

Triangle Math & Science always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Triangle Math & Science's win bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Southern Wake Academy, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the loss, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Triangle Math & Science does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Southern Wake Academy, they will head out to square off against Thales Academy Apex at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
