Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East Burke). Everything went their way against the West Caldwell Warriors on Thursday as they made off with a 14-1 victory. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Cavaliers with their most commanding win of the season.

The win made it two in a row for East Burke and bumps their season record up to 12-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for West Caldwell, they dropped their record down to 1-21 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, East Burke will be taking part in a tournament against Ashe County at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Caldwell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
