Baseball Recap: Stroudsburg Comes Up Short

Stroudsburg lost against Pocono Mountain East back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Stroudsburg took a 17-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pocono Mountain East.

Ryan Pacitti and Anthony Knight did some serious damage despite the final result: Pacitti scored three runs while going 3-for-5, while Knight scored a run while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. What's more, Knight posted two hits, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Damian Budhai, who scored a run while getting on base in two of his five plate appearances.

Stroudsburg's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Pocono Mountain East, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Stroudsburg didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-0 loss against Easton Area on the 26th. As for Pocono Mountain East, they have also already played their next contest, a 6-1 defeat against Freedom on the 26th.
