Volleyball Recap: Memorial Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Memorial entered their tilt with Cooper on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Mavericks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Memorial won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-14, 25-23.

Memorial's win bumped their record up to 24-5. As for Cooper, their loss was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-21.

Coincidentally, Memorial and Cooper will both be playing Legacy the next time they take the court. The Mavericks will host the Leopards at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Cougars will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
