Basketball Recap: Trinity Prep Takes a Loss

Trinity Prep lost against Alleluia Community last Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Trinity Prep Lions fell just short of the Alleluia Community Angels by a score of 65-63.

Despite the loss, Trinity Prep still got an impressive performance from Beau Blocker, who went 11 for 27 on his way to 29 points. The match was Blocker's fifth in a row with at least ten points. David Kedar was another key player, going 5 of 12 en route to 14 points.

Trinity Prep's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Alleluia Community, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-10.

Trinity Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 79-58 defeat against Victory Baptist on the 27th. Alleluia Community has also already played their next game, an 89-72 win against Peachtree Academy on the 27th.
