Basketball Recap: South Skates Past Briggs with Ease

There's no place like home for South, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They took their match on Friday with ease, bagging a 66-19 victory over the Briggs Bruins. That 47 point margin sets a new team best for the Bulldogs this season.

South was led to victory by John Glover and Neko Tuff. Glover posted 12 points, while Tuff earned nine points. Another player making a difference was Gavin Griffin, who had nine points.

South's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Briggs, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

South will square off against Independence at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South is facing Independence at the right time seeing as Independence is stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Briggs, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 41-29 loss against St. Charles on the 11th.
