Basketball Game Preview: Lake County Panthers vs. Buena Vista Demons

The Lake County Panthers are taking a road trip to challenge the Buena Vista Demons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Last Thursday, Lake County was beaten by Fort Lupton 89-49. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 291st, while the Bluedevils are ranked 61st).

Buena Vista has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They had to suffer through a 75-41 loss at the hands of The Vanguard School.

Lake County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Buena Vista, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.

Lake County suffered a grim 69-46 defeat to Buena Vista when the teams last played back in November of 2023. Can Lake County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
