While Bishop Carroll's victory against Westmont Hilltop wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Huskies had just enough and edged out the Hilltoppers 3-2 on Tuesday. The win was familiar territory for the Huskies, who have now won seven contests in a row.

Bishop Carroll had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 20-25, 25-20, 25-16, 15-10.

Emily Olienyk paced Bishop Carroll's offense, picking up 22 kills. Olienyk got some help from Lily Ann Strait and her 54 assists. Finally, Adison Myers kept Bishop Carroll's defense grounded, leading the team with seven blocks.

Westmont Hilltop lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Isabella Parrish, who had 20 digs and three aces.

Bishop Carroll's victory bumped their record up to 13-9-2. As for Westmont Hilltop, they now have a losing record of 10-11.
