Newport has gone 4-0 against Estacada recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Newport Cubs will host the Estacada Rangers at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Newport came up short against Cottage Grove and fell 63-53.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Estacada's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. The contest between them and North Marion didn't end well, with Estacada falling 72-55.

Estacada's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Newport, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.

Newport skirted past Estacada 55-53 when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Will Newport repeat their success, or does Estacada have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
