It was a good run, but St. Thomas Aquinas unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 76-72 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Piscataway Chiefs. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Monday (63), the Trojans still had to take the loss.

St. Thomas Aquinas' defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Piscataway, they pushed their record up to 15-4 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

St. Thomas Aquinas wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 69-53 loss against Colonia on the 23rd. As for Piscataway, they will square off against Lincoln at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Piscataway knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Lincoln likes a good challenge.
