Copiague won the last time they faced Huntington and things went their way on Monday too. The Eagles came out on top against the Blue Devils by a score of 4-1. The game was the first time the Eagles have beaten the Blue Devils on their field since April 24, 2018.

Aidan Roman was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Roman was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3.

Roman wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Justice Santiago, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Adrian Cruz also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Copiague's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-3. As for Huntington, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Copiague will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Blue Devils: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
