Volleyball Recap: Bunceton Dragons vs. Smithton Tigers
Bunceton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Smithton Tigers, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Dragons of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2018.

Smithton can attribute much of their success to Lily Rodriguez, who had seven digs and five aces. The dominant performance gave Rodriguez a new career-high in aces.
Bunceton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Smithton, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-5-1.
Bunceton will stay at home for another game and welcome Sweet Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Smithton has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Stover on the 8th.
