Fillmore had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They put the hurt on the Hammondsport Lakers with a sharp 21-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won nine contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Jack Boon was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with six RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2024. Jared Boon was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with five stolen bases, four runs, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Fillmore kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Fillmore's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Hammondsport, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.

As of now, neither Fillmore nor Hammondsport have any future games scheduled.
