Baseball Recap: Harding Academy Takes a Loss

Harding Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 17-6 to the Lausanne Collegiate Lynx. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lynx this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 on Monday.

Harding Academy saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andres Ortiz, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Another was Jack Cubbins, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Harding Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Lausanne Collegiate, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-6.

Looking ahead, Harding Academy will head out on the road to challenge White Station at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lausanne Collegiate, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Memphis University School at 7:00 p.m.
