Baseball Recap: Lenox Comes Up Short

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Lenox and Martensdale-St. Mary meet (five straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Tigers fell just short of the Blue Devils by a score of 8-7. The Tigers have struggled against the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Lenox's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Martensdale-St. Mary's, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season.
