 Wallkill Valley had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 1.5 runs), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Lenape Valley Patriots by a score of  6-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Wallkill Valley also won the last time the pair played  back in April.
  Ryan Miller made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out 13 batters over  6.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off   seven  hits (and only one walk). Miller was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-4 with a  home run.
 In other batting news,  Chris Collins was  excellent,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  stolen bases and two  RBI.  Ruben Gomez was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-4.
 Wallkill Valley pushed their record up to 12-6 with that  win, which was their third straight  on the road. As for Lenape Valley, they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 8-9.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wallkill Valley will be staying on the road  on Thursday to face off against Sussex County Tech at 4:00  p.m. As for Lenape Valley, they will  square off against Morris County Tech at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
