Basketball Recap: Harrison County Comes Up Short

Harrison County was the 72-69 winner over Scott when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Harrison County Thorobreds fell 72-63 to the Scott Eagles on Thursday. The game was a 29-29 toss-up at halftime, but the Thorobreds couldn't quite close it out.

Scott's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kaymon Coleman, who went 5-for-12 en route to 17 points and seven assists. Coleman has become a key player for Scott: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least 15 points, but 8-15 otherwise. Jordan Clemons was another key player, going 6-for-13 on his way to 17 points.

Harrison County now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Scott, their victory bumped their record up to 10-16.

Harrison County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Scott, they will face off against Bishop Brossart at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
