Soccer Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Wakefield

While Wakefield's win against Chantilly wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Warriors had just enough and edged out the Chargers 1-0 on Monday. That's two games straight that Wakefield have won by just one goal.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Erik Vasquez Ayala, which was the first he's scored this season.

The victory was the third in a row for Wakefield, bringing their record up to 4-1-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three games. As for Chantilly, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wakefield will challenge South County at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chantilly, they will take on West Springfield at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
