Basketball Game Preview: University Titans vs. Central Valley Bears

University is 0-10 against Central Valley since February of 2019 but things could change on Friday. The University Titans will challenge the Central Valley Bears at 5:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

University played in conference for the first time on Tuesday and they got just the result they we're looking for. They really took it to Cheney for the full four quarters, racking up a 69-31 victory. The matchup marked the Titans' most dominant win of the season.

Meanwhile, Central Valley put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 72-54 victory over Mt. Spokane. Given the Bears' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked seventh, while the Wildcats are ranked 102nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Central Valley pushed their record up to 12-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for University, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7.

Things could have been worse for University, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 55-39 loss to Central Valley when the teams last played last Tuesday. Can University avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
