Volleyball Recap: Strasburg Comes Up Short

Strasburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Simla Cubs. The Indians were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cubs from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-9, 25-5.

Laci Zimmerman paced Strasburg's offense, picking up six kills. Zimmerman got some help from Camryn Forbis and her 11 assists.

Strasburg's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Simla, they pushed their record up to 14-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Strasburg will square off against Platte Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Simla, they will take on Fountain Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
