Softball Recap: Spurger Comes Up Short

Spurger fell victim to Big Sandy and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 18-0 to the Wildcats. The Pirates haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Spurger's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8-1. As for Big Sandy, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-13.

Coincidentally, Spurger and Big Sandy will both be playing Evadale the next time they take the field. The Pirates will head out to face the Rebels at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Wildcats will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
