Softball Recap: Huntington North Falls Short of Homestead in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Huntington North can now relate to. They came up short against the Homestead Spartans on Wednesday, falling 14-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-0 back in April.

Huntington North saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lily Craig, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Huntington North dropped their record down to 2-19 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Homestead, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Huntington North nor Homestead have any future games scheduled.
