It was a good run, but Bentonville West unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rogers Heritage War Eagles. The Wolverines were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the War Eagles earlier this season, when they won 6-5.

Bentonville West saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jonathan Veira, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.

Bentonville West's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Rogers Heritage, their record now sits at 5-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the War Eagles beat Bentonville West by a score of 4-1 on Wednesday.
