Park City won the last time they faced Hillcrest and things went their way on Friday too. The Miners walked away with a 9-4 win over the Huskies.

Brooks Baganz looked comfortable as he tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four).

At the plate, Alex Brannigan was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Joey Breza, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Park City was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hillcrest only posted a batting average of .192.

Park City has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.1 runs over those games. As for Hillcrest, they dropped their record down to 2-18 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road.
