Volleyball Recap: Northwest Comes Up Short

Northwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Western Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Wednesday.

Northwest's offense was headlined by Avery Redmond and Shannon Christner, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Emersyn Carroll and her three assists. Adalyn Mack controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Northwest's defeat dropped their record down to 2-21-4. As for Western, their victory bumped their record up to 33-8-2.

Northwest wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Harper Creek on the 25th. As for Western, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Coldwater on the 25th.
