Baseball Recap: AGWSR Takes a Loss

After flying high against Columbus on Wednesday, AGWSR came back down to earth. The Cougars fell just short of the South Hardin Tigers by a score of 4-2 on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost six in a row.

AGWSR's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for South Hardin, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-5.

Looking ahead, AGWSR will square off against Gladbrook-Reinbeck at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cougars are facing the Rebels at the right time seeing as the Rebels are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for South Hardin, they have already played their next match, an 8-0 victory against Ogden on the 6th.
