The Palmer Moose will take on the Mountain City Christian Academy Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Palmer took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 81-53 victory over Houston. While the Moose didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Mountain City Christian Academy over Soldotna in every quarter on their way to victory on Saturday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Mountain City Christian Academy blew Soldotna out of the water with a 73-40 final score. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Lions had established a 29 point advantage.

Palmer pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.6 points per game. As for Mountain City Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
