Baseball Recap: Brushton-Moira Comes Up Short

Brushton-Moira was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 13-4 to the Madrid-Waddington Yellowjackets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-2 on Thursday.

Brushton-Moira's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Madrid-Waddington, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Brushton-Moira will head out to challenge Norwood-Norfolk at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Madrid-Waddington, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Tupper Lake at 4:30 p.m. on the 20th.
