Basketball Recap: Greenbrier Comes Up Short

Greenbrier was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 53-45 to the Liberty Creek Wolves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 64-32 back in January.

Greenbrier's loss dropped their record down to 1-23. As for Liberty Creek, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-13.

Greenbrier does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Liberty Creek, they will take on White House at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Wolves will be up against the Blue Devils' rather soft defense (which has allowed 56.58 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
