Volleyball Recap: Millis Takes a Loss

Millis was the 3-0 winner over Bellingham when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Mohawks fell just short of the Blackhawks by a score of 3-2 on Monday.

Millis took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 21-25, 23-25, 25-18, 15-7.

Bellingham found their leader in sophomore Lucas Lahousse, who had eight digs and two assists.

Millis now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Bellingham, they pushed their record up to 12-4 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

Looking ahead, Millis will welcome Westwood at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bellingham, they are taking a road trip to challenge Medfield at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
