Soccer Recap: Burbank Comes Up Short

The matchup between Burbank and Edison on Wednesday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Burbank Bulldogs lost 7-3 to the Edison Golden Bears. It was the first time this season that the Bulldogs let down their fans at home.

Burbank's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 8-5. As for Edison, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 5-7 record this season.

Looking ahead, Burbank will take on Highlands at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Edison, they are taking a road trip to take on Brackenridge at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
