Volleyball Recap: Ridgeview Christian Falls Short of Regents in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Ridgeview Christian can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Regents Lions on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Crusaders in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost five in a row.

Karina Kwiecinski paced Ridgeview Christian's offense, picking up ten kills. Kwiecinski got some help from Josi Woody and her 11 assists. Amaya Elijah and Moriah Nice kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Ridgeview Christian's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Regents, the victory (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 16-2.

Ridgeview Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Grace Christian on the 18th. As for Regents, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Blue Ridge Christian on the 18th.
