Meanwhile, Columbus faced Cypress Bay in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. While the 3-3 score might suggest a draw, it was the Explorers who were credited with the win. Columbus got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to Cypress Bay's one.

Columbus' victory bumped their record up to 16-4-5. As for Windermere, their win bumped their record up to 19-1-5.
