Basketball Game Preview: San Luis Obispo Tigers vs. Atascadero Greyhounds

The San Luis Obispo Tigers are taking a road trip to challenge the Atascadero Greyhounds at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Last Tuesday, San Luis Obispo came up short against Mission College Prep and fell 60-49.

Meanwhile, Atascadero hadn't done well against Arroyo Grande recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Atascadero strolled past Arroyo Grande with points to spare, taking the game 67-51.

Atascadero's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-10. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.0 points per game. As for San Luis Obispo, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-7.

San Luis Obispo couldn't quite finish off Atascadero in their previous meeting back in January and fell 60-57. Can San Luis Obispo avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
